Job Summary:
The Economic Researcher will play a critical role in conducting comprehensive economic research and analysis to support decision-making processes within the organization. Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct in-depth economic research to analyze and interpret complex data, market trends, and economic indicators.
2. Develop and maintain economic models, forecasts, and simulations to evaluate potential outcomes and support strategic planning.
3. Collect, analyze, and synthesize economic data using appropriate statistical techniques, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
4. Prepare comprehensive research reports, white papers, and presentations summarizing findings and providing actionable recommendations.
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest economic theories, trends, and regulatory changes to ensure research is aligned with industry best practices.
6. Collaborate with internal teams, such as finance, marketing, and strategy, to provide economic insights and support decision-making processes.
7. Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to the development of policies, programs, and initiatives based on economic analysis.
8. Present research findings to stakeholders, both internal and external, effectively communicating complex economic concepts in a clear and concise manner.
9. Contribute to the design and implementation of surveys, questionnaires, and other data collection tools to gather primary research data.
10. Ensure compliance with ethical research standards and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience in economic research, analysis, or related roles.
3. Strong knowledge of economic principles, theories, and statistical methods.
4. Proficiency in statistical software, such as Stata, R, or SAS.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
7. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex economic concepts in a clear and concise manner.
